Our classic random pattern—turned up to eleven.
This variant is deliberately busier and tighter than standard random. The layers are press-compacted so the figure packs in: tighter swirls, pinched “eyes,” and stacked ripples that read loud even on small parts.
Metals: copper, brass, and nickel-silver.
Look: warm copper reds + golden brass with cool silver highlights. Polish it and the nickel-silver flashes; go satin or patina and the copper/brass deepen while the silver stays bright for contrast.
Why makers pick it
High visual density—pattern shows up on rings, bolsters, inlays, pen barrels.
Versatile finish—satin for texture, high polish for shimmer, or patinate the copper/brass while leaving the nickel-silver bright.
Old-world stack, modern press—forged and pressed to crowd the layers and amplify the figure.
Care: non-ferrous—avoid harsh acids/bleach, then wax or oil to keep the colors rich.
If you want quiet, pick something else. If you want the pattern to announce itself, Random Pressed gets it done.
